You expect him to be like that for 3hours?! This is showing he's professional (First for everything) again, tone his voice down and he'll be spot on. I don't normally stick up for Spoony, I normally think he's useless but he's coming in for some un worthy criticism today.

Yeh I think you've summed it up. I think he's slowly lowering the tone a bit.

From what I've heard, Spoony has been reflecting more on positive memories of John (let's face it, there won't be any negative ones), through stories. Don't criticise him just because he's trying to give a tribute in his own way.

Yeah Spoony is pants.... he sounds like Victor from Big Brother's boring cousin. I actually couldn't listen to the drivetime slot when he was playing. They should put Wes back on the morning. I thought he was alright covering for Chris in the summer. Scott's best in the afternoons and I don't think much of the weekend bunch.

Spoony was just paying tribute in his own way by focusing on good memories of John, plus how do you know what he sounds like when he's sad? He may sound the same...

Yesterdays show was far better than today's bag of s**te with Scott back in the seat. He has totally ignored the news from what I have heard, which I regard as utter vile disrespect. He's drawing more attention to the fact he has lost his voice than anything else, the egotistical w****r....
