top ten in order (1 being the best 10 being the tenth best)

1.Shapeshifter's- Lola's theme (chooooooon!)
2. Franz Ferdinand- Take me out (although the whole album's amazing)

4. The Libertines- Can't stand me now (best song on the album)
5. Juniorjack- stupidisco (just pure genius)
6. Lostprophets- last train home (finally getting the recognition they deserve)
7. GLC- half man half machine (also a very good album)
8. The Hives- Walk idiot walk (sounds twice as good at excessively high volume)
9. Eric Prydz- call on me (was played a little too often but still a class choon)
10. Razorlight- rip it up (listening to the album before, i'm full of cold and that song made me feel a lot better)

would also liketo mention many brilliant bands have emurged this year, including franz ferdinand, keane, snow patrol, scissor sisters, maroon 5, razorlight, glc, the zutons and many more, it was really hard to pick just ten songs

well not many are in the record of the year finalists.

coff fixed coff.

It's not fixed, it's just the voters are all young girls who vote for people like Westlife, Busted and in the earlier days Boyzone, not because they have actually made a really good record, but simply because they are "well fit"

I realised this years ago and gave up on this programme, it shows no representation whatsoever of what the real best records of the year are, we just have to decide that for ourselves!

all voting shows are fixed are you stupid? amazing how on x-factor all judges had one act left....

how many phone lines do they have per artist eh?

Someone could have the most votes but not win. For example, Will Young got a whopping 45% of the mobile and text votes which (I'm guessing) would probably cover at least a quater of all votes, yet he only managed to come 4th.
