Not needless, it fits in with the fact that Chris made the main site christmas'y, and its only a matter of uploading two images to the server. mabey changing the logo to look like the homepage aswell...

And because its the festive season... brighten up the mood abit with a change of forum. I mean, if it changes for halloween i dont see there being a reason not to change it for christmas.

You should see the snow images on the forum, just not the falling snow on the main site.

Luckily in firefox I can add a custom stylesheet that'll remove the snow..bah.
