yeah but the record of the year 2004 being held a month before the year ends means they have to fiddle with the dates. Like the Brits not allowing Robbie Williams' album to qualify.

i think they should cut the nominations down to 3 anyway to filter out the fodder. Like who in all honesty can name 5 british females who have had a top 20 album or more than 1 top 10 hit in the last year.

beverly knighthad one topten i think,but she had an album as well, lucy silvas had a top ten hit last month and has had a top ten album, idon't know if shazney lewis had a topten single but she has had a top 20 album and rachel stevens had the sport relief song and more more more, which both got into the top 3
