So, getting an IPod at christmas- but has anyone got any suggestions for tracks to download?
Im thinking pre1990.

PS Is it posible to put Chris Moyles song parodies onto an IPod? (via Chrismoyles.net sound machine)

as the song parodies are mp3 files, I'd imagine so. Probably have to be converted in Itunes first.

Most mp3 players other than Ipods appear as a hard drive in My Computer so you can just drag the MP3 across. Like my IAudio M3 - I love it, and much nicer than an Ipod :P

Dont use iTunes, a program like EphPod is good for managing ur iPod.

Much more flexible than iTunes, cos you can download tunes to your computer off the iPod, which iTunes doesn;t allow.

whats the point of getting lists of songs to put on it when you can just put ANY song you like on it, it's not like you're gonna run outta space in a hurry!! my entire collection is only just 22gig so that's only HALF of a 40gb iPod!! ... I wish I could get one, ah well

Yup, the iPod is more of a fashion accessory, I can't think of better ones off of the top of my head right now, but I know Sony and Philips make decent ones.

it depends what you want. if you just want to listen to music then the ipod is fine, but you can get a lot better for the same price. Most other mp3 players can record from line in sources and play a variety of file formats.. A lot of FM radios, and mine can even record from FM. All for the same price as an Ipod.
