Mine are as follows:

1. Stop biting my nails (although after about 10 years of trying i dont think this will ever happen lol).
2. Pay off my overdraft and save some money.
3. Look at some point for a new job (although im quite happy with the one im in at the moment if i want to be succesful with the above resolution then this would be useful).

New York is fab.... you should go! I went a couple of years ago with the girls on a minium budget for new yrs and I loved it. It was well worth the 6 months saving up!

My resolution is to work harder, stop surfing the internet whilst at work and to get healhy!

Spoony said his was to earn more I heard yesterday. Apparently he earns less than half of Vernon, Dave Pearce etc but has the same airtime. I thought Chris would earn the most, does he? He certainly has managed to negotiate enough holidays!

Generally, the Breakfast Show involves alot of money. So yes, Moyles will be a top earner at Radio 1..

I went to a job interview a few weeks ago, they said to me, Theres will be no internet access, no personal emails, no personal phone calls, no talking too loud coz the MD is on this floor, and if you have to take a day off it will have to be an emergency, like your boiler broke or a funeral!!

You should have seen how fast I ran towards the exit. They said they will get back to me but hopefully they wont. The agency never told me they were sending me to a prison.

No wonder that sounds like complete worker cruelty! Wonder if they let you take toilet breaks. They are v nice to me in my work but I don't deserve it. Cause I'm training at the moment they hardly give me anything to do so I've got to look busy. Its harder than it sounds believe me!

Yes I know how hard it is to look busy. I have to do that sometimes coz I finish my work so quickly.

Heres a few things I do:

1. Place a load of files on your desk and every now and again flick through them, and then pretend you're making notes.

2. Open an Excel spreadsheet and scroll up and down.

3. Walk to the fax machine and pretend you're waiting for something, and tut when you dont receive your imaginary fax

4. Reboot your computer for no reason at all. Might help if you shout "Bloody computer" before you do this.

5. Go to reception and chat up the receptionist.

No.5 doesnt really make me look busy but she is very nice

All good suggestions! I must be learning from a master :)

Seriously do you not all find it totally soul destroying just sitting there doing nothing. I actually got to the point today where I wanted work to do!

Wandering round with a piece of paper is also effective at making you look busy. You can increase the effectiveness by printing off a blank sheet first.

Wouldn't have thought it'd be possible to be infinite. I'm not one for trying it though.

At least they couldn't be accused of misselling like some companies would.. Wasn't a call centre by any chance was it?

My New Years resolutions are:

1. To try and cut down on the junk food diet
2. Move down south to either Aberdeen/Glasgow and start Law degree.

That's about it. I'll never keep the first one.
