That'd be a vast, costly undertaking, especially considering that all of the studios are being renovated at the mo. I don't see Radio 1 moving from Yalding House any time in the near future. - jc

Yalding House is a sep. building to Broadcasting House. The work currently going on at Broadcasting House looks rather impressive.

Without this turning into the infamous topic,

have they actually refurnished one of the studios or is it a new studio completely? (i.e. the other ones still exsist?) - possibly the other ones are going to be changed as wel.

They're all getting renovated, one after the other, including the Live Lounge. Studio 3's next; that got taken off-line on Friday. The logistics of the whole operation are truly astounding; they need to have at least three studios operational at any one time, which is why the renovation's being carried out one studio at a time. - jc

so are you effectively doin the job of two now?? is this why the "when's aled going" stuff was goin on today in cpc because you're gonna be on the show a lot less whilst you cover for will? or is he back on day producing now?

I want to ask quite a specific show to you Aled.....

IF you know much about the stuff going about the imaging.............do you know why you've ditched alot of the up-tempo jingles/imaging/bedding? Loved the last two days of you being back, but the change to the jazz stuff backing and change of the kill bill bed?

Its hardly important to the majority of listeners, but it made last year what it was as well with that extra sparkle. All the Music4 stuff you used last year was fantastic, but where's it all gone?

I agree with tunster. Yes it's a change, but I think after the few weeks it should revert back to the old style jingles, they were much better. It sounds very Radio 2. I don't mind the background music though, but not the jingles!
