Not quite sure when the new reviewers are all starting etc, so I might as well open up the topic about this weeks shows.

Thought todays was excellent - both in terms of being funny and entertaining, and how it sounded. The new jingles are great (especially the theme at the end), and I also really like the new Newsbeat beds.

Not so sure about the decision to keep CPC, but it was funny today so I'll reserve judgement for a bit...

What did you people think?

New studio, new year, new features, and a new moyles for 2005 surely made todays show funny.

Even though they've shifted Buzz Off, will there be anything to replace it?

CPC was top notch still today and glad it's still here, but the Detox thing did take over the whole show................I'm just a bit afraid it "might" become annoying, but hopefully new stuff will be introduced within the next coming weeks.

New jingles excellent and expected.

Maybe 2005 for Moyles is going to be a great one.

I was pleased to see CPC there as I still really like it. We knew Buzz Off was going, but I thought it was at least going to be replaced by something.

New newsbeat always takes time to grow for me.

Not too sure about the new jingles. The outro is nice, but the jazz-esque jingles and beds? Im hoping they are a bit of a one off and going to be dropped as they dont sound "funky" enough for the Chris Moyles show.

Detox will get annoying quickly

And tedious needs to go.

Other than that, an really funny show, although personally I always find the unplanned links where they dont have a lot to talk about the best, as thats the style I like...

And yes, BEEP BEEP, is great. BOOB BOOB.

I'll repeat what I just said above, and fear its becoming a regular, but those Jazz-esque beds dont work. It makes the programme sound more like Big Band Special on Radio 2 than the Radio 1 breakfast show. They are dire. Aled, if your reading this, accidently delete all of them.

Yeah, I agree. I prefer the old beds/jingles - they suited the show more. I do, however, like the new newsbeat and one road travel!

Thought the interview with Barbara was good this morning, especially her promoting her VD, i mean DVD

Its good to have him back in the mornings but I'm not a fan of having guests on the show just for the sake of having guests on. Barbara Windsor didn't interest me in the slightest (neither does her DVD) and the Holyoakes fitness DVD didnt require all the time it got either

That Hollyoaks interview was just pure garbage.
