On Monday, commercial radio stations are simulasting UK Radio Aid's programming to support the Disasters Emergency Committee in light of recent events:

THE SCHEDULE:
6am - 8am
Big Brother's Davina McCall and Dermot O'Leary will be kicking things off in style with some extra special guests, fab giveaways and a few surprises.

8am - 10am
Chris Evans returns to the radio for the first time in three years along with X-Factor hostess Kate Thornton. They'll have huge prizes up for grabs, and some very prodigious guests will be coming into the studio.

10am - 12pm
Classic FM's Simon Bates will be joined in the studio by NAME TO BE REVEALED and Jade Goody and will be bringing you some of the very best musical acts performing live. They’ll also have some money-can’t-buy prizes up for grabs.

12pm - 2pm
Zoe Ball and Eastenders favourite landlord Shane Ritchie will be bringing you unmissable fun and fundraising shenanigans. Watch out for some very special celebrity guests.

2pm - 4pm
NAME TO BE REVEALED presents alongside chart supremo Mark Goodier. They’ll be joined by even more guests and live sessions.

4pm - 6pm
Johnny Vaughan is reunited with his Big Breakfast co-host Liza Tarbuck to work their magic and round off what promises to be an amazing day. Keep tuned for even more amazing prizes, more guests and even more surprises.

What do you think? Will any of you be switching over from Radio 1/Moyles?

To my surprise that sounds bloody good - will try and catch what I can (cos it's not as if I'll have trouble finding a station).

Will be good to hear Evans and Zoe Ball back on the radio...

I saw this appparntly no local radio will operating, only local news on hour, and its timed bulletins....

Some stations will be opting out in a "childrn in need" stylee, meeting mad flo in chemist who's ona sponsered silence, whilst the rest of us listen to Simon Bates playing Jamelia and Tshcoviaky

If any stations are failing to co-operate with this, they need to be taken off the air on Monday. It's for a cause that needs cash constantly to help these people.

That day, I'm hectic with 4 exams to do throughout all of the day! Right up until 6pm! So i'll miss most of it, which I'm not kinda happy with.

I can confirm Hospital Radio stations can get access to the show as well if they have IRN News.

Edit: Didn't see Hospital Radios in the list ;)

Wow, my local radio are taking part! Wouldn't have thought that.

Jo Whiley... or Simon Bates with Jade Goody. I'm afraid Jo Whiley will be listened to.

To be honest, the only interesting thing on the lineup looks to be Chris Evans, but then they go and ruin it by putting the bloody Kate Thornton with him.

They better not ruin Mark Goodiers slot by putting an idiot with him.

Agree with Gaspode on this one, the world would truly suck if we all did the same things.

On that note I see my 2 tinpot local stations (96 TRENT FM and RAM FM) are involved, no surprise there as they might as well be the same station anyways, only real difference is one is based in Derby and the other in Nottingham.... oh and they're both sh*te.

Why? More chance of people listening to it while at work. I'll still be listening to Moyles, afterwards I might have a listen to it though.

Exactly, it's not as if we aren't aware of this disaster. Just seems like an excuse for a cheap day's radio.

I've already donated to this cause, without being 'press ganged' by every form of media to give more and more. Yes it's an awful disaster - don't they think we know that now.
