Can't say I'm overly bothered about this, especially after they did that god-awful track for the even worse Thunderbirds movie. Did like 'What I go to skool 4" but that was about it.

Thunderbirds was a low point i'll admit. McFly are just second rate.. who now will take on the pop crown?

I heard all about this yesturday and glad its happening.....why claim they're not the average "pop" band and then Charlie comes out and says "we we're pop"? Well, he's all sorted with his new band.

I'd reckon McFly will take over for a while and then we'll another band pop up and die out.

McFly are not worthy, another band where I kinda liked the 1st single and then it all went downhill. It will probably be Rooster that take over their 'crown' by the sound of it.

And I probably hated Thunderbirds (song and film) even more as a fan of the original series and movies.

I loved the vid for the 1st song but they kinda went downhill from there. I won't mourn them but I'm sure they'll be loads of tweenie fans crying into their pillows tonight.

rooster are rubbish. a good pop record has as much value as any other.

to say a poor mans version of busted is a very very bad thing but them ones with the red hair are just a cynical copy. their new song is calendar girl which sounds like something that busted wouldve rejected.

I heard they were "just taking time off" at first, just like The Spice Girls, Boyzone, etc all did.

But now the split is confirmed and it's great news! Normally I have a tiny bit of respect for bands who are honest with their fans about splitting up, for example, Take That, Five, All Saints...but I can't find it in my heart to do that for Busted, as they're all irritating little t*ssers.

Good riddance!

Boyzone aren't in the same band as Busted and neither are Westlife. The bands I mentioned made great pop records but bands like Westlife, Boyzone, Blue etc just exploit the teenage girl market with dull arse ballards and covers.
