i cant park anyway.... i have never had to parallel park since I past my test yet I park in a car park every day and you dont get taught that.

well i wasnt taught or tested on that. i did parallel park, reverse round a corner and three point turn.

You don't get tested on it, but most good driving instructors will teach you anyway. Having said this, the test's have changed quite a lot since I passed mine so it could be wrong.

Gaspode, I don't think it has been on before. There was a similar thing, but not the same.

You can get tested on it. You're tested on two manouvers out of bay park, parallel park, reverse round a corner and 'turn the car around in the road'.

They also test you with 'practical' questions before any driving begins.
Questions can range from:
"How do you check your breaks are working?"
"How do you check the indicators are working?"
"How do you check the tread of your tyres are within the minimum level?"
etc.

They're not too bad though, if you get either or both wrong it's just one minor.

Its easier for driving testers to pass you than to fail you as if they fail you they have to write up a report on your faults. If they pass you they are practically paperwork free. Fact.

Same logic the police seem to have when crimes are reported (in my experience) they don't catch a criminal = Less Paperwork (I have a reliable source in the force)
