WWF Smackdown 2 is a classic game, it's what I bought with my first ever wages (part time job) but I already have that, have em all including the awful Just Bin In and the much overhyped Smackdown V Raw. Worth buying though as it has things the PS2 games in the series are missing, and should be VERY cheap by now.

ive been playing smackdown vs raw game today. season mode, either the game is rock hard or im useless. wrestling as triple h, in 4 hours i havent won a match yet even though i trade in my crappy money for attribute points. i did however win a match, albeit when stacy offered her services, i had to play as her in a bra and panties match and i beat trish.
i couldnt even beat garrison cade for gods sake. any tips, i seem to be only capable of 4 moves and theres a grapple move like a leglock which takes so long to happen that it bores me. also how come jimmy snuka and roddy piper are not hidden at the start if they are legends.

I played as Triple H and found season mode fairly difficult too, then when I had enough points from playing it a few times through on Raw (and being gifted belts along the way), I used a wrestler of my own creation and won every single match through the year (playing on smackdown roster this time), and won Torrie and Sable as managers lol. Weird. Seems to be quite easy if you play as Randy Orton too, but I got bored playing as him coz u have to play 'Clean'

Yeah you need wrestlers roughly equal overall from what I can tell, can't put a powerful guy and weak 1 together... one of SD V raw's many flaws. I made a stable of a few cruiserweights (Mysterio and the Guerreros) though and they do well in 6man tag.

SD vs Raw is annoyingly boring... especially Online... You can only play a Single or Bra and Panties match.

Makes me soo glad I havent bothered with online for ANY PS2 games.

SD VS Raw was very poor, seems to me best parts were return of create-a-PPV and the soundtrack. They even missed out key members of the roster.

i finished the season and then the same storyline about torrie and tajiri returned at the start of the second season again. also the valets are confusing, one week they are on raw, next they are on smackdown. in real life trish is supposed to be on raw but she seems to be with undertaker here on mine on smackdown when im on raw.
ive finally got a few wins under my belt. surprised myself, first match i played today i defeated shawn michaels, beat garrison cade in a hardcore match, beat matt hardy in a ladders match with a briefcase of money suspended on a rope, beat tajiri in last man standing and now at badd blood im fighting shelton benjamin, garrison cade and matt hardy in a hardcore battleroyal fatal four way for pride, no title on the line.
can you not wrestle as kurt angle then?

No, he was a general manager of smackdown in season mode, as he was on TV when they made the game, so it's already out of date, lol.
