WTF was that "just dont metion it" jingle about.... That really doesnt fit in with the show imaging... yet does fit in with the opening theme OVER A YEAR AGO.....

But please remember we dont like to mention it...... Damn It

No, I just found out and just posted rather than edited.

I remember at the start of breakfast they said they couldn't beat Wogan because his target audiance range is much greater than Moyles'... however they are doing a good job at it.

Yes the jingle this morning was from last year. I was actually expecting the "7 million listeners, 7 million listeners..." jingle. But no doubt we'll see one in the new style soon.

He is still miles off; it's only 7 million when you add all the kiddies in. It's 6.7 without, compared to Wogan's 8 million. Plus, old Wogan seems to be getting even more popular too. It doesn’t really matter, though; it’s not like they are in competition.

What does the "7 million listeners" mean? 7 million people simultaneously listening to the show any given morning? 7 million people listening per week? per month?

It's a huge figure, I want to be sure I understand it right...

I think it's 7 million a week. But some of those will listen more than once. To be fair, its not really accurate. I could survey 100 people, and if all 100 just randomly happend to listen to Terry Wogan, but no one else in the country listened (i.e. he only had 100 listeners) Wogan would come out brilliantly. I know thats very unlikely, but it shows that there is quite a bit of room for error.
