It would certainly be odd behaviour to post a card to someone who lived in the same house as you.

Stangely enough, I'm the one called Eddie in the band members section.

Using capitals is annoying - it means you're shouting in text/computer speak and is hard to read. It is however no where near as annoying as saying lol, espeically as you over use it. Only put it if you really did laugh out loud, and even then, only if you must. Ha ha will do just as well - in fact that would be much better. I know I'm not alone on this one here, there has been many a debate on using text language on the board before and it was always deemed a no no.

ive never got why putting something in capitals is offensive thats a bit sad and petty isnt it

Its considered to be LIKE SHOUTING at someone....

I got you all beat, I'm so damn generous I got me mum a nice card and paid for her and me dad to have a meal in a nice(ish) pub restaurant. Was gonna go along for the meal meself but was too ill/tired from being up all night waiting for and watching the Grand Prix.
