metropolis street racer was an excellent game on dreamcast, cost me 40 quid though at the time. I also liked playing Virtua Tennis 2 and Ready to Rumble. I got Sonic with it but i couldnt get into it, it was too pre determined really. Tried to play Tomb Raider, got stuck and bored.

I hated Sonic and Tomb Raider too... only other games I have for it are Ready to Rumble, Jimmy Whites 2 Cueball and South Park Chefs Luv Shack.... might dig it out if MSR is that good and I can get a copy tho...

Chefs Luv Shack was the 1 with the snowball game... tho I agree that particular minigame, and the 1 with the bear were sh*t.

I loved "Asses in Space". Anyone remember Alex the Kidd, I had it build into my Master System, It had one of the best theme tunes ever. It was a bit worrying when you defeated the bosses and they turned into hamburgers, then you ate them and for some reason it used to scare the hell out of me when you lost and got turned into stone, I'm mad, me.

Anyone else got the Nike car on GT4 yet? For such a futuristic car it aint great on much except manoevrability really... my skyline has faster top speeds etc....

I've never been a fan of Gran Tourismo, it takes itself too seriously, I prefer arcadey games like Burnout or Need for Speed: Underground.

It does take itself quite seriously, but F1/Rally (Burns, McRae and WRC) and other motorsport sims take themselves more seriously in my experience.

GT does let you have free runs on tracks and stuff so there is a more fun element to it.
If I had an Xbox i'd get Midtown Madness 3 as that has some kickass vehicles and quite good city maps... love the fact you can go down into the underground and run headlong into trains.... heheh

I just bought Resident Evil 4 the other day, it's possibly the best looking game I have ever seen and massively surpasses all the other Resident Evil games.

Haven't played it yet but I'd guess Metal Gear Solid rivals it in graphics etc.
