'Its April - what do you expect'

'It's a veritable smorgasbord. Sun. Rain. Thunder. Hail. Snow. Cold. Wind. Not worth going to work really.'

If you don't vote you give up your right to complain about the state of Britain in general

If youre not sure you could always do a postal vote, that way it wont really matter! lol

Good to see the lib-dems up there.

I think I'm going to vote for the Tories just because I don't want Labour in power any more and the Lib Dems havn't got a cat in hells chance. I don't expect the Tories to do any better than Labour, but I trust Howard more than I trust Blair. And I wouldn't trust Howard as far as I could throw him.

Not that it'll make much difference, Bosworth has been a Conservative constituancy all my life.

You would seriously prefer a Conservative government? Jesus. I know its only my opinion but I think Michael Howard is pure evil. Forget immigration, if he gets into power there'll be a f*cking problem with emigration.

I'm left wing and voting Labour (although I know the two are more and more disassociated these days). To me The Lib Dems are the only alternative and although I agree with a few of their ideas and disagree with a couple of Blairs (top up fees.. ahem), I would still much rather have him as PM than Kennedy any day.

I'd say I'm in the middle, but I cannot stand this nanny state which Labour has imposed.

^^ 100% agree :). - The Conservative views on immigration, in my eyes, border on racism. :x

Well you know that the Liberals have a good chance of becoming the second major party at this election. - If their policies are really most suited to you - vote them!

1. Sidla posted whilst I was replying to the previous post
2. I have no idea as to how to put two quotes in one thread
3. Even if I did it would be too much effort
4. It is my greatest ambition to get as high a post count on the chrismoyles.net message board as possible becuase it will make me look like, way cool. bwaha ;)

In a word: no ya pedantic little laddie :)

define good chance. haha

If sidla trusts Howard more than Blair he doesn't remember when Howard was in government. The poll tax... that alone is a reason not to vote for him.

Thankyou MC, I think it's great that the LibDems have gained such popularity, I've never liked a 2 horse race like the Americans have.
All I know is that our Local MP (David Laws) is good, and previously we had Paddy Ashdown as our local MP, and he has helped me on several occasions, (It's great when you're getting hassle, then your MP makes a call. they soon move then!! lol).
In my opinion people do not only have a duty to vote, but should accept that there are opinions that differ to their own, they should debate, but not put down others feelings on politics, Vote for who you think is going to give their best, vote for your family tradition, whatever you do please make sure you vote.

Hear hear. I think you should be forced to do your public duty and vote or at least spoil you ballot paper if you was to abstain.
