Dead. Fell off a roof during a fight with Dan Hunter, just after Ellie jumped. Dan was later found guilty of murder after Ellie testified against her brother, but later came to her senses. Dan's conviction was quashed and he was released, leading to Ellie becoming ostracised by the population of Hollyoaks.

Dan is also dead. He was killed just before Christmas during a race when his car crashed and exploded.

Back on topic... such a hard choice... I'll plump for one and hope it's the right one...
