dont talk to me about garden depression! i was out talking to the hedge the other day and it was furious with the grass for letting it get itself all straggling and with weeds and stuff. the hedge had a fair argument suggesting the grass should have a trim and that there was no excuse for weeds when all it takes it a little extra spread of growth. the grasses defence was naturally this new "garden depression" which to be honest I think is just a cop out but then the grass said it had been cutting itself with its own blades which is ridiculous because as the hedge said its not getting any shorter. anyway when the bluebells started i left them to it.

garden depression is no excuse for the grass to let itself get so long. and then when you throw weeds into the equation its just plain nasty for the hedge to have to be associated with it.
