mascots are a pathetic americanisation of some of our sports along with cheerleaders and music when a goal / try/ other is scored.

Rhinos have cheer leaders. Apparently they are the Radio Aire Dance Crew and they do Leeds United matches too

This is the cheerleading website in the uni I was at. The girls who did the cheerleading just seemed to do it for fun not too seriously but they won some prizes.

Personally I associate sheep with Derby County (a.k.a the Rams)... does tamworth have a similar association/connection to sheep?

Our ground is were an old pub called "The Lamb" used to be.
So our ground is called the Lamb now, thus the connection.
A pig would be a more suitable mascot but no....
