Because they are SCOTTISH teams and the Premiership is an ENGLISH league. Ignore Cardiff, Wrexham and Swansea - they shouldn't be allowed in either.

Aye, my point exactly... If you're going to do it you have to have a Brtitish League as such and allow all Scottish, Welsh, English and Northern Irish teams to join.

Should start off with a british cup, attract sponsorship, television money. Can only be good for the game in Britain. Players and investors will want to come to clubs if they see them doing well in the cup.
