Got round to playing it today

Completed it and got about 120000, clicked on OK and then it just starts the game again!?!? Tried again and scored 130000 something and then clicked Ok and it started the game again.

Where do i enter my name etc???

This is a known problem. For some reason the BBC have blocked firefox users (and Mozilla, Netscape and possibly Opera) from entering the competition, I'll PM you the fix.

It wasn't as hard as it sounds, I only needed to change one character within the webpage, from a 0 to a 1.

You have to look for the part of the code where it posts the subbmitted info to the server...

Course you do, presuming thats the problem, the score not sending?
Or if it was teh score not showing up then it would be something different.

The score does show up, but the game doesn't get to the point where you would enter your name and email address for the competition. It has nothing to do with sending the info to the server, infact the server isn't involved with the problem.

For anyone that still cares, the BBC have applied my fix, well that or they ignored my email and did it themselves the next day anyway. Who knows? Either way it now works properly in firefox and the others.

Edit: I just recieved an email from the BBC Webteam:-

Hello

I'm very sorry about the mistake in script for Saviour City that caused
this problem.

It was due to human error and it has now been corrected.
