I don't Chris has any need for the show to be pre-recorded. The only ones which might be is when major celebs come to be interviewed - and even then you can tell by looking in the webcam archive. The majority of them are live

Best calls hes done recently were last week when it was his 8th anniversary at Radio 1, and he said the full switchboard was of people ringing up to congratulate him.
