I've just downloaded iTunes, havent got an iPod though and was wondering how you are supposed to determine the filesize of the podcasts prior to actually downloading them?

I don't understand why you'd download software to handle music downloads when you could just download music directly from places like Tesco Downloads.

yeh but no ones still answered my question tho have they? which is, how do you, if possible, find out the file size of a podcast before actually downloading it?

Well, I don't use ITunes (not having windoze or Mac), but the RSS file (which, I beleive, is what the podcast uses) has the file size written in it (6342454B for this weeks BTW). However I wouldn't know how to access this info from inside ITunes.

oh well your kinda missing the point then rnt u really. i think i've answered my own question here tho which is there is no way you can know how big the file size is. until youve actually downloaded it of course
