I get my exam results today (Tuesday). I had to leave for work early though so I won't actualy get them until about 6ish when I get home, and I know that some of you don't get your results until Thursday. Apart from those cases, how did you all do?

Mine were my Scottish Highers. This time next year I'll be waiting for my Highers and Advanced Highers (last year of school now! woo hoo!)

I get my AS results on Thursday, gonna have to go and get them in my half hour I get for lunch, reckon it'll take much longer than that anyone? I'm hoping everyone will have gone at 10am and there'll be nobody there when I go.

My Results

Ah...not too good there I'm afraid. My drama and french were fine - both stayed at As. My English...B (good, but could have done better).

Maths and physics on the other hand...

My physics dropped from a B (in my prelim, only three marks off an A)...to a C. I'm really peed off about that one, physics is my best subject and, apart from the near miss in my prelim, I've been getting As throughout the year.

Maths I've never really understood hugely, but was shocked when I got a C in my prelim. My teacher said he didn't see why I couldn't get a B, or maybe if i was REALLY lucky, an A. It was also one of the best exams (I thought!) that I'd done.

Yeah, I know, just not as good as I'd hoped for, and it's always disappointing when you work your ass off for something and it still doesn't come up to scratch.

I remember how disappointed I was when I found out I'd failed two of the 3 A-Levels I took, but things always work out in the end - I went on to get an HND and a Degree.

i agree i totaly blew my GCSE's but i resat and then did a GNVQ (Genrally not very qualified) in busness.

I am now a computer consultant!!!!

now now- gnvq's are good if you want to go into a specfic area- like computing.. you may laugh but i did a gnvq advance in business, got a merit. i take offence to people that call it that. look where i am now. after doing my a-levels (ABB), I got into the 6th best uni under such great places as oxford and cambridge. i'm now off to nottingham. i hear its nice.

oh, just A-Levels now is it? Just A-Levels. Sod everyone in scotland doin there standard grades and, like me, highers and advanced highers, just A-levels.
