not being born until 10 years after his death, i am not really that well informed of his work. however, i saw a documentary of him recently, and i liked the fact that he filled a swimming pool with light bulbs, and then shot them. and also when he shot the tv if someone he didnt like. God my parents are gonna regret me seeing that programme.
its crap to say he created rock but he was the first real mega-star of music. he started a lot but his music doesnt have as much relevance today as stuff like the beatles. hes just an american cliff richard....

I think that his music has even less relevance today as the Beatles. I don't like his music much and I'm not interested in him although he influenced the development of music. In my opinion the Beatles, especially John Lennon, were much more important.
