'Y' is for Yalding, as in Yalding House, Radio 1's HQ.

All the studios are being refurbished one-by-one; I think the plan is for Y3 & 4 to be used for on-air shows, with Y1 being used for pre-recs.

All of Radio 1's old equipment goes to College stations and so on. The station i am at has some of it what was ripped out of one of Radio 1's studio's.

Y4 is the one Moyles/Mills broadcasts from and Y3 is the newly refurbished one where you can find C&E and Whiley.

no, not at all. I often have a glance at the webcam and so now i know which one is which i can see if anyone has changed studios.

Chris is is the same studio he has been in for ages (Y4) and Colin and Edith have now moved there.

bearing in mind Moyles and that last used their old studio just before christmas last year, the refurb has taking just under a year to complete.... surely thats not "quick" ?
