Anyone know anything about mobiles? I have a Samsung SGH-D500 that I am trying to set up email settings on. Is it possible that someone could have access to the phone from a computer without a person knowing? (kinda like hacked?). It keeps getting messages (about every 5 mins) as if it is trying to connect to the internet on its own and the address it comes from looks like "4444".

I'm thick at these things so any help would be useful...

its not set to check every 5 mins cos i have looked at that. yeah i think 4444 is a top up line.

its not my phone and there are people who have had it who would try to hack it if they could...

if your own O2 pay as you go you cant use any other email servers than O2's... need to be on contract to use any.

The only possible way to hack it would be through bluetooth (so they'd need to be in a range of about 10 meters), and even then its still quite unlikely.
