i think given will move to the gunners at the end of the season. his contract is up for renewal and hes too good for newcastle. he deserves a shot at winning something. even if it is only the fa cup or carling cup. although lehman has been better this season.

There is no doubt that he is one of the best goalkeepers in the premiership. I think he will stay there, but i am not so sure. Newcastle need to sort out another striker for when Shearer leaves.

i know it shouldn't but it still amazes me what Shearer gets away with on the pitch. i reckon he could punch someone and not get sent off.

Both Steve Bennett (who is the worst referee in the prem) and Dermot Gallagher were awful today.

The day they aren't will be a big shock.

I'll never forget him sending Shaun Wright-Phillips off a couple of years ago against Bolton, for taking his shirt off while celebrating a goal, I mean what harm does it do?! Good job we won the game 6-2!

because Defoe has largely been sh*te this season? admittedly Crouch hasn't been much better.

to be honest watching it again today you can see why it was given as it did hit o'neills arm, not deliberately though. no we gotta get 9 points from west brom, fulham and west ham at home to even have a slight chance of survival.
