#210147 By Mafro - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:29 pm - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:29 pm #210147 Wasn't it a xmas number 1?
#210150 By Quincy - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:30 pm - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:30 pm #210150 yeah 1994 or something
#210154 By Fathomer - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:31 pm - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:31 pm #210154 Gary Jules was Christmas number 1. They're not playing that.
#210159 By Dickie - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:33 pm - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:33 pm #210159 I hate the fact they cant just play random older songs, instead they bring back about 5 and play them on every other show for 2 weeks.
#210175 By Sidders - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:47 pm - Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:47 pm #210175 They should play "When a child is born" by Jonny Mathis.
#210211 By TheKing - Mon Dec 19, 2005 4:23 pm - Mon Dec 19, 2005 4:23 pm #210211 The Christmas song by Wizzard is the best one. Shame they prefer to play a rubbish one by the Waitresses or something like that.
#210330 By Steve. - Mon Dec 19, 2005 6:10 pm - Mon Dec 19, 2005 6:10 pm #210330 East 17 is a great song, takes me back to being a kid, when Christmas really was the best thing in the world! All radio stations and music channels play it at Christmas, not just Radio 1. Probably because it's got a Christmassy sound. "Number 1 was Colin Bell, Number 2 was Colin Bell, Number 3 was Colin Bell, Number 4 was Colin Bell..."
#210426 By Gaspode_The_Wonder_Dog - Mon Dec 19, 2005 11:04 pm - Mon Dec 19, 2005 11:04 pm #210426 I think its good too but then i like the gary jules one too. Here's to those who bore us and made us what we are
#210465 By MC - Tue Dec 20, 2005 12:36 am - Tue Dec 20, 2005 12:36 am #210465 Gary Jules is much better than East 17, but East 17 is played every Christmas so its allowed. TheKing wrote:Shame they prefer to play a rubbish one by the Waitresses or something like that. you are kidding right? The Waitresses song is class. That, the Pogues and Slade are pretty much the only decent Christmas songs..
#210825 By Steve. - Tue Dec 20, 2005 6:26 pm - Tue Dec 20, 2005 6:26 pm #210825 I've gone off Slade in recent years, prefer Wizzard now, cheesy like Christmas songs should be! "Number 1 was Colin Bell, Number 2 was Colin Bell, Number 3 was Colin Bell, Number 4 was Colin Bell..."

He was on the One life documentary thing last week and he seems to be recovered, but is still mental in the head as he blames the press for everything. Clearly Piers Morgan and co made him run himelf over with his own car. Silly Catface
