On a slight tangent, I got stopped by the police and breathalised today. it was 2pm and I don't drink duing the day, but I still felt really nervous. First time that's ever happened to me.

I got breathalised after some asshole drove right into the back of my new car last year. The policeman was very nice about it though. The asshole got breathalised too and was charged for drink driving the stupid man.

I don't really blame them for doing spot-checks, if they catch 1 person drink-driving out of every 100 people they stop it has to be a good thing.

The fines that drink drivers get are huge. I saw 2 people in court today being fined £500 and getting banned for a year. Its really not worth it.
