i like family guy a lot but they seem to have more jokes about american tv personalities that i just dont get, where as simpsons is mainly childish stupidity, so its right at my level.

I love Family Guy, although its starting to lose its edge now in its 5th season, yeah there are a lot of American celebrity references, but they are still pretty funny even though you dont really get who the person is.

Completey random fact about South Park (because it was discussed before) it takes them only 1 week to produce a whole episode, animation and all. I thought that was quite impressive.

i think family guy has gotten worse since they've been back. they're making the side jokes too long and the gags are stale. american dad is HORRIBLE! i still blame it for the death of arrested development.

O/T - Isn't Showtime strongly rumoured to pick up Arrested Development now? I know they can't do any official negotiations since Fox haven't said anything officially confirmed the cancellation, but I thought it was looking better now?

No way! Season 5 Episode 8 is the best one I've seen yet. The Father The Son and the Holy Fonz. I don't even know who the Fonz is, but it was classic.

Technically, that episode is 418, but due to a * at Fox, they started advertising the second half of season 4 as a new season. Also, PTV (Episode 414) was the best, those fellas at the freaking FCC, class
