i think we mean different things, i mean one like consoles where its a website to keep them on that others can get to so like your own site that lets you upload audio but also pictures and text

Oliver, while technically the mp3 files are on my site, I actually have them on two other servers because I host my own website and my upload speed is awful.

However, you can get webspace (for webpages) for free at places like tripod and geocities (are they still operating?), or you can buy some (and a domain name) from places (I can't be bothered to look any up, but googling for them shouldn't be too hard).

well sometimes if you upload audio instead of getting a web address to download you get a HTML code, you when building a site put that in a HTML box and when you view the site it appears in a windows media box

When my site is done i will give you it so you can see but most of it will be jingles you havent heard unless you live in the northwest

I think I know what you mean, however it's easier (and nicer) for the viewer to just download the file and play it at their leisure, and either way you'll still need to upload the file. Have you read the reply I sent to your pm yet?

how do you get the links to say vimagination....... and not the site you uploaded them to?

I use a an apache module known as mod_rewrite which allows me to redirect requests to different servers based on the filenames (among other things), but it's only because of a unique situation for me that I have to do it, it's more or less pointless for someone else.
