And if you hated it why were you listening? Mills is very much American style, in which he pre-records stuff and wants it to sound clean and to the point when he does stuff. I hate the way people use 'pre-recording' against him so much, it's not like he did it all 6 years ago. Most of the stuff is done that day, and up to about half an hour before.

I think he prerecords it too much, and he doesn't even prerecord himself having conversations with the caller...he prerecords his talk..then just takes random bits from the caller and fits them in, so sometimes it doesn't even make sense. Arrrrrgh.

some of the calls where chappers pretends to be people it sounds like he has been added later on.

when they're talking to callers the phone line quality is so sh*t you can hear them fading the presenter mic up and down to try and cut out the chance of any extra background noise...it might be that you can hear?

Talking of bridges, when I was young, the radio used to go all fuzzy when the car went under electricity pylons. It doesn't do that any more, I wonder why.
