Aled - happy with the show rajar results ?!

yeah, the results are great. Really good. It's an amazing feeling to see the figures going up from figures to figures.

I'd like to re-iterate at this point that it IS not all about the figures! I'm saying this now because I'll be saying it if/when they go down for whatever reason - and it's true. It's nice. But it's not just about the rajars.

seriously though its great to see an improvement. now dont get me wrong sara cox was okay, but giving chris the chance and after nearly years - you lot down at radio 1 have really put the effort it to see it improve more and more. looks like the gamble has paid off then

What A Levels did you do Aled?
Were these the best ones to take to get you where you are now?

i didn't do any A Levels. I did a BTEC in Computer programming and dropped out then did a BTEC in media which I completed. I think got a job with BBC TV in London.

thats the eq. of a levels i guess. you did hosp & local radio didnt you aled? some people get their lucky break i suppose.

Aled, please can you tell me whether i am hearing things or whether this actually happens and why...When you all come on air at 6.55 the 7 o clock news jingle/bed and speaking always sounds much much faster than normal, i have noticed this a few times and am sure it isn't me just losing my mind??! Please explain. Thankyou

I'd class myself as pretty good when it comes to using websites, but myspace is possibly the worst website in the world to use/navigate/edit profile.

a bit of a random question. But why does the show start at 6:55 and not 7?

I mean it's advertised for starting at 7, so is the first 5mins like a "special extra bit" for those who listen to JK & Joel?

I always thought it was to give a bit of a run in, banter, talk etc before the news at 7. Rather than to let Moyles start with talking etc and end up going into the news at 5 past 7. but I'm not Aled, I cant know for sure.

I always assumed that it was because a lot of people set their alarm clocks for five to seven, rather than seven on the dot. Therefore they are technically 'waking up with Moyles'...

I'm not going anywhere. We all had to board for our jobs over the last week and some people wouldn't be getting their jobs back! But I was fine and so is Joce so all that's fine.

as for the 6:55, no it's just your tired head, there's no quicker speaking or beds! We only have one Chris Moyles and one set of beds which are used for the whole show!
