Has the podcast essentially moved back to Thursday? I'm listening to Radio 1 live now on the podcast show with highlights from this week. Will the podcast released today be this virbatum, or will there be Friday bits on it as well?

Well as the gegulations say they can only put in the podcast what's gone out on the air, a Friday early-early-morning slot means they'd bound to a Friday-Thursday compilation. The podcast, or 'The Best Of Chris Moyles' as it's known as in the listings, is scheduled for an early morning slot for the next couple of Friday's. So I'm guessing it's back to the best of Friday - Thursday from now on. Unless they do what I suggested in the other podcast thread and compile the podcast after Friday's show, speed it up to such an extent that it only takes 10 seconds to play out, then broadcast it during a Moyles trail during say, Colin and Edith's show, and then have it available to download, in normal speed, straight after.

Or just play it out Monday morning instead of Friday, and have the podcast available a few days later. Full week podcasts make more sense than disjointed week ones

Its the one where there is a builder who asks the woman to make him a cup of tea and calls her luv, she gets annoyed and so on lol.

If you have seen it, do you think the builder looks like Chris. I think he does, i had to do a bit of a double take at first lol.

As much as I agree with you, this is a decision we're just going to have to accept. it's simply a scheduling decision. They want us to go out on Friday morning so this is what we have to do.

I don't know where everyone is, but Rachel's abroad, Chris is abroad and so is Dave. Not sure about everyone else. Oh Jocelin's on a course and Tash and I are in the office. Before you ask... the show's off for 8 weeks a year and BBC staff get 5!

Why thank you Dopey, but no, no positive t-shirts. i guess your prize is you get the feature(?) whereas the haters get their own angle now.

Aled - Is Chris scared of Gay people?

No. Not at all. If I was to give Chris any advice in the whole Chris is homophobic argument it would be that he's the complete opposite - very comfortable around gay people. He hugs and pretends to snog me in front of people just to freak them out - he's entirely cool. The problem is, that doesn't fit into the image people have of Chris, and in much the same way as if you're close friends with someone you can say "oh you're looking a bit rough" or "putting on the pounds there love" and you can laugh it off, he feels he can take the piss out of me and other gay guys as he's so friendly with us.

Other people don't get it and assume he's being homophobic and Chris genuinely gets puts out when people say that to him. And to be honest I don't want to stop him. I don't want my sexuality to be in the same PC "Handle-with-care" box as religion or race etc. I'd like my own sexuality to be as comfortable as possible on breakfast radio that's broadcast to 8 million radios every morning, if Rachel went out with a minger (she doesn't btw) then he'd take the piss, if my boyfriend did something he didn't like I'd like to feel he could laugh about it on air like he would with any straight person's partner.

To me, it's just as homophobic to sweep the subject under the carpet and push it off mainstream radio just because he might say a bad line occasionally!
