What software can you use to play the enhanced podcast back on the PC? I'd like to be able to see the pictures as well.

And please don't say iTunes. What a piece of shit software that is - that's never going anywhere near my PC ever again.

The enhanced one somehow supports chapters & pictures that some mp3 players (iplods I guess) support. I never knew it was possible on the mp3 format though, so i'm baffled.

It's not possible on the mp3 format, the enhanced podcast uses the m4a (or mp4) format

I too hated Itunes when i first got my ipod. But seriously give it a chance, i love it now. There are lots of little quirky features no one knows about that make it great.
