I don't really think that the site *needs* a fresh look. Like Chris said it wouldn't be the same without the free and open discussions. I think it's pretty cool, no matter how it looks.

I like it how it is tbh,Its easy to find what you want & has a forum.

I'm sure the look will change in the future,when Chris etc has got bored of the current look & has the time to redesign it,upload it etc.

The site works well as it is at the moment,so its not that important to change it.

quick question:when was the main site given its current look?

I think it was back around the time Moyles got the Breakfast gig, although different aspects have evolved over time, especially the way the home page looks and works.

The website itself isn't really effecting most of us on the forum as we don't use it much and it's been updated plenty of times. I don't personally think there's many forums that use the default phpBB style any way, so in that respect it's unique here.

May be the original poster should spend more time working on a decent design for their site

We've got one for paper, one for cans, one for bottles, one for garden waste, and one for everything else. They even go through our bins to make sure we're putting everything in the right one.

that sounds like my town in germany. the germans really enforce the gelben sack. here we just have garbage, green waste, paper, and plastic, glass, and tins (in one box). they sometime go through garbage randomly to see that we're recycling everything, and give chas prizes.
