Hope that's not the final cover, it looks a little crappy.

It's a shame they didn't let Chris choose his own cover-style. The original picture he wanted would have been hilarious.

hmmmm is that really the final one!? not bad but looks kinda like one that you could do on photoshop without too much difficulty.

Really wanna have a go at making one now - but have litle time. Might give it a go.

the one with the priest outfit and pint?

dont think the publishers would have allowed it as it would be way too controversial and might not sell as well as this one!

Do you not know how the media works? Controversy increases sales rather than hindering them!

Well, Chris isn't the most conformist DJ on the air at the moment ;) I was hoping they'd trust his opinion of what the audience would want. He tends to get it just right. I think this whole "not wanting to offend the god botherers" thing is Political Correctness going a bit nuts. What would they do? Burn the books? They gotta buy them first! Worked for Satanic Verses which was pish. Hurrah! I smell a best-seller! :)

I've enjoyed the latest spate of "grump" books... Clarkson, "Bo**ocks to Alton Towers", "Is it me, or is the world just sh1t?" ... Chris's knack of finding the weak point of any silliness and ripping it to shreds should make great reading.

I work for Puffin books, and read many unpublshed articles. I must say that this is by far the most incredible piece of work since Shakespeare put pen to paper. It is favourable with Charles Dickens, Bronte, Conan Doyle... It is quite marvellous, stupendous; a sheer masterpiece.
Bravo Christopher. Bravo.

I am sooo looking forward to this book!
