A wins a win, granted, but look at Englands group! Possibly the easiest group ever. Not that it matters but I reckon Sweden will thrash yous. Crouch and Owen looked crap and if Rooney hadn't come on and boosted morale it could easily have been a stalemate. They've been billed as the strongest English side in years but it sure don't look like it from where I'm sitting.

Atleast you're honest, Owen is rubbish, nothing like the days when he was breaking into the team. Moving to Newcastle proved that he no longer has a hunger for the game. Crouch is just a big lanky streak of piss, he reminds me of Ally Mcoist, no real talent but a prolific goal scorer, although this is what every team needs. He needs to practice heading though, a six foot odd striker who can't score regularly with his head is like a butcher without mince.

Lampard is quality, at the end of the day, the lack of goals scored rests at the feet of the strikers. It' their job and if they don't provide then they are entirely to blame, regardless of the midfields prowess.
