Who can not stand these foul things? I should be outside enjoying a hot summers afternoon (one of the last we're likely to get this year), instead I find myself hiding away from the spawn of the devil.

Everyone else around seems to not have a problem with them, so in a Dave Gorman style, I want to find lots of people like me. So I can prove to myself I'm not a freak... Or am I?

wasps dont bug me that much, unless I'm eating and they keep landing on my food then I keep thinking I'm gonna eat them or something. Usualy I just let them go about their business.

I hate flies, not scared of them they just a agitate me

you got 3 types

1. Bluebottles - quite easy to kill cos theyre noisy
2. The ones that stay on a light bulb
3. The one that never land on anything

I hate that lightbulb-cruisers. I've got a big velux window in my room and when I open it late at night (cos my room gets really hot and stuffy pretty quickly) I have to make sure I switch my lights off cos otherwise they all zoom in and just hang round on the roof the whole night. ARGH!

I think wasps are ace. Nothing wrong with them and I've been stung in bad places by them but I've still don't hate them. Where as Flies are very ugly horrible things.

flies seem to have no purpose whatsoever. At least wasps, bees, etc can:

A) Make you honey. yummy yummy.
B) Scare you sister
C) Scare attractive female friends of yours that don't like them, giving you the chance to look like the "big tough man" and remove them for her. Ahhh...she'll love you forever more.....

Wasps are pretty useless creatures, but I don't see the point in irritating them by trying to swat them because you'll only increase the likelihood of being stung. If you stay still they usually fly away. - jc

the other day a wasp woz really pissin me off so i flicked it onto the floor, dowsed it in lighter fluid and did a reservoir dogs. only i actually dropped the lighter. this seemed to do the trick and no more were attracted by the mess. happy hunting.

I once dropped a pile of newspapers on a wasp. It's head fell off but its legs were still moving half an hour later. Evil things.
