I suppose it would have been sensible to have shown the Chelsea match on ITV4 in Scotland... Did they not do that?

No, it was the Rangers match with the usual ITV Champions League pundits.

ITV's treatemt of Rangers Champion's League games last season was infuriating. In England It was shown on ITV4 with the usual pundits and in Scotland it was shown on ITV1 (at the same time) in a completely different format, with Scottish pundits in place of another match eg. Chelsea v Barcelona 2nd leg. I understand this was for people in Scotland who don't have digital tv but this really pissed me off to no end.


just think yourself lucky that this wont be happening again next season.

Do you have English connections? I've never met a Scotsman interested in Scottish football who doesn't hate the English team, except maybe some Rangers or Hearts supporters, or other loyalists.

You still have a chip on your shoulder and are being overly and unnecessarily defensive.

As I mentioned earlier, you can't please all the people all the time, it's impossible. Since in this tournament, England have qualified and Scotland haven't, it seems fair that the commotion surrounds England. Contrary to what some have predicted, I don't think we would have the same situation if the roles were reversed and England hadn't qualified but Scotland had; or even if both teams had qualified - the media coverage would have been equal.
