Actually the Krypton Factor Assault Course was at Holcombe moor up by Sellafield, which is a british army base. I did an outward bound thingy there and actually did the assault course (except for the deathslide, cos it was too slippery after the rain apparently).

It was like a version of Krypton Factor with kids in it, junior krypton factor if you will. Showed on CITV for a while.

I would have been on at Twycross but we were on holiday at the time.

It was some time ago, Carlsberg eventually stopped sponsoring it and it got changed to the Portsmouth Music Festival. It was held on Castle field, over 3-4 days and usually had only one or two minor modern bands, the rest were all older stars.

I saw the likes of Shakin Stevens, Desmond Decker, The Cult, Dodgy and a whole host of others so long ago that I can't remember them...

Shame they don't still do it...
