That's why I love London so much. The little shop at the end of my road has obviosuly got one of those new 5:17am licenses 'cos that's when I rolled up there after the italy game to buy a big bottle of Vodka "for you my friend - no problem"

Yeah that's where the licensing laws have really helped IMO.

I also like doing my shopping late on a Friday night. No kids about and easier to just get the job done.

That's true but it beats dealing with moron "trolley stoppers" who just stop in the middle of an aisle to chat, or stop to look at products with no concern for those around them. Screaming kids aren't there at night ... pikey parents "if you don't shut up you won't get no sweets" ... gotta love supermarkets :mrgreen:

Last time I went to Asda late night - about 1/2 midnight, I saw two seperate parents with their kids doing their shopping AND IT WAS A SCHOOL NIGHT.

Mind you the Asda I went to was practically in Moss side

You always travel back in time to the previous night to do your shopping. Save money on time machine fuel and do it in the present day
