It has been revealed that a man repeatedly lied about his exploits and gallantry he had in military, he turned up to work each day wearing medal laden military uniform and even claimed he was knighted, he also boasted that he was close pals with stars such as Robbie Williams.

I'm going to go rather off-topic now but I don't care... This man clearly isn't a danger to anyone. He maybe a bit sad, but he's no danger to anyone. The prisons are already full of people who shouldn't be there and by the same token, truckloads of people who should have been put away are roaming the streets (case in point is Craig Sweeney, though he's inside now, he shouldn't have been out in the first place.)

How is it that if I were to embezzle money from a company I would almost certainly do a stretch in prison, yet if I were to go out and pick a fight with someone, I'd not go inside, since I've got no previous. People like Jeffrey Archer and that jockey fella who got sent down (can't remember his name but he's f*cking four foot and a fag end - no danger to anyone) - those types of people should get hit in their pockets, not sent to prison.

If there were a political party who said all violent crime would carry a minimum sentence of 10 years, I'd vote for them tomorrow. Fraudsters and the like should not be clogging up our prisons when they've no need to be there.
