I'm older than 25 and it generally means you have a better income and therefore can have a lot more fun and a better quality of life. Well that and a bloody huge TV you can hang on the wall.

Well I went out last night, and had told loads of people to be there. 1 of them turned up. I was really upset.

You don't tell people to be there, you ask them if they'd like to go. That was your mistake. I went out for dinner on my birthday and 12 of us went. That's because I asked them. I think if I'd have told them to just be there they may not have been!

It might just be the time of the month and that people didn't have any money to go out. Or maybe you could have had you're night at the weekend. My b/day is just after Christmas (Dec 30th) so people usually turn up for my b/day night as they are off work the next day but they never bring me presents as they are always skint and give joint b/day and Christmas stuff
