Sorry couldnt resist, but I do sort of agree, funny how some people become successful cuz of one populist character, the schoolgirl thing wasnt even pitched to a younger audience in the first place, but, they're lapping it up and so is Tate, just another ginger with a silly catchphrase whos making it biggish over the pond. One day no-one will give a toss about her eccentric little characters and she'll be the weakest link, bit like Annie, doing the same, tired quizshow day in, and day out.

Just out of interest, what do you find funny about it because i think i fail to see the funny side of programs like these.

Basically (as per LIttle Britain) it draws on all the excentricities of the people of the UK, and exhaggerates them to a comedic level.

I think most people can relate to some of the characters/plots that appear in the show, and hence it has a sense of relism.

Plus I like swearing in comedy.

To summarise, it just makes me laugh.

Why do you find it unfunny? And what programmes do you find funny?

Its one of the many shows that I see the trailer for, and think "Ok, I really really have to miss that". So actually I don't know if she's funny or not, I just cringe at the trailers.

Bag for balls, I find the program offensive to people and i don't find it funny and it's the same as little Britain. But i seem to be in the minority.

So what do you find funny then?

The Gran is very very funny, as is the 'Am I bovvered' girl and the both the couples ('you'll never guess what 'appened!' and 'dirty bastards'). The woman who puts her foot in it all the time is also very funny (I can relate to that) and the 'have a guess' woman, though there are some I don't like as well. I didn't see it last night but hopefully my mum taped it, I asked her to.

Dude, once again... chill out. Yes I have asked you two questions, but I am merely curious. The job one was based on the fact that you said teaching was a bad job, so I innocently wanted to know what you felt was a good job, I don't see alot wrong with that. If I come out and say "Cat's are crap animals", I'd expect people to ask me a) why, and b) what I considered a good animal.

Re: the above question I don't want to snoop to the low "you started it" level, but you did actually ask me what I found funny about the Catherine Tate show, a question I readily answered, you then said you found it insulting, so I (in a conversational manner) asked what you did find funny. I was just furthering the conversation by posing another question to you. I'm sorry if I've in any way offended you by "asking a question".

French n Saunders are in trouble for making kids look like adults or something, very disturbing viewing apparently, and will not go out on air again, I'm not a big fan of them really, plus they only get wheeled out at christmas, what egos.
