Gordon Burns just wont die, but if you do live in the northwest you can hear him do this every weekday night, they're having trouble propping him up during and after every news story, they think all that hot air might make him burn up across the sofa and land in Dianne Oxberry's lap, not a bad place to be farting the whoopee cushion stories from.

(Yes they did have a whoopee cushion story a couple of weeks ago, about a giant sized one, they all sat on it)

To be fair Jack is just a newsreader, and so just reads the news and does research for it, he's not suppose to entertain us, thats what Moyles and co are for.

I'm looking forward to having Dom back too, but Jack has done a good job. Don't know if it really constitutes a "big break", but well done Jack, and I'm sure you'll be back Jack. Dammit, now my brain is going to just keep thinking of words that rhyme with Jack and I won't get any work done.
