cool. i used to watch a few BBL games on sky but i think the rights have been sole to some other company. most of the teams are havin money trouble at the munute from what i can gather

did u watch any of the NBA playoff series when it was on sky earlier this year?

yea over here the league isnt as big so the atmosphere isnt great.

the lakers-kings series was amazing!! it was the best series ive seen in a long time. it was far superior to the final series.

basketball is dull because the court is too small. play it on a football pitch, add a few players, kick the ball instead an change the nets it may just work....

yes but the whole point is that scoring a goal means something. if you score 50 baskets a game it devalues actually scoring 1.......

scoring a basket can mean alot...if u didnt score...u would be destroyed.

basketball is fast paced...offence to defence in quick transition.

set plays run, set defences played. a battle of coaches as well as a battle of athletic ability.

a game technically above all others.

there are no draws in basketball...you have a winner and a loser.

I was alright. In fact, I was probably one of the best there, but that's beside the point...

What I think made me quite good at it was that my mum used to coach my primary school netball team (being a sports physics, she used to do it pretty well too), and I used to go along to their practices and ended up playing in their team. Then when I went up to secondary school, it was basically the same game, but I could move with the ball, adding even more to my playing.

So, in short - yeah, I was alright
