Yes, that is spot on. I wouldn't say I'm complicated, just very naive and very shy. She's made it clear to me she is interested in nothing more than friendship, yet being friends with her only seems to keep me hooked.

It's clichéd, but the type who are hung up on physical appearence perhaps aren't the type you want anyway. Or perhaps we're all shallow really.

One of the pretty blonde girls at school told me that it's better not to be pretty and blonde because if someone actually likes you then you know it's more than a shallow physical attraction. Meh. So apparently being ugly is a good thing.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, personality is what counts, I have found after doing some "sensitive" appraisals with women, ie the ones where I appear to care, and give advice from a "new man" type perspective, they then want to take me out for a "drink" to "get to know me better"

And I am Fat, Ginger, Freckled, and bearded, but I am a crackin lover, so I think that probably word has got out !
