Does dyslexia make you spell the word "I" with three letters instead of one? ("eye")

Im not an expert, but does it not normally mean you put the letters in the wrong order? Not type in txt tlk.

Nope, complete myth. Dyslexia is a learning disorder based around literary skills, not that it makes people spell 'I' as 'eye' though.

Fair enough, although I did consult answers.com first. They might not be the most reliable source of info though.

Dyslexia involves several different functions. Visual dyslexia is characterized by number and letter reversals and the inability to write symbols in the correct sequence.

Rubbish, don't believe you. Why do people trivialise the reality of dyslexia by pretending it is the reason they can't be bothered to write properly?

Just remembered that I played pool with a satanist last night. Really should go out on a Friday more often.

Had a good night last night. We lost the pub quiz but had my hair plaited by a viking.

I, like you, am not an expert on the subject, but I think visual dyslexia and (normal) dyslexia are different conditions, the first being a problem with the eyes, and the second a problem with the brain.
